To participate in the pre-screening, simply submit the application form for the Rising Stars Talent Showcase.
This is not a contest, lottery, drawing, or sweepstakes so the entries are only screened to ascertain that the submissions are valid, by real and authentic people.
The Rising Stars Talent Showcase of Africa is open to musicians, Fashion designers, Makeup artists, Handcrafters, Painters, and Choreographers of ages over 7 and nationalities on the African continent.
The Music Category includes Rock Artists, Ambient Musicians, Experimental Composers, Metal Bands, Synth Artists, Folk Singers, Instrumentalists, Vocalists and Song Writers,
The Fashion Designer Category includes Clothing Designers, Footwear Designers, Accessories Designers, Tech-Integrated Fashion Creators and Fashion Stylists
The Makeup Artist category includes Hair Stylists and Make-up Designers who specialize in cinema, theaters, fashion, salon, retail outlets, freelance services, branding etc
The Handcrafters category includes Antiques, Baskets makers, Paper Mache, Ceramics, Clock Making, Embroidery, Block Printing, Decorative Painting, Glass Work, Fabric, Furniture, Home Décor, Jewellery, Leather Crafts, Metal Crafts, Paper Crafts, Pottery, Puppets, Stone and Wood Works.
The Visual Arts Category includes Visual Artists: Drawing, Painters, Sculptors, talented Architects, Photography Masters, Videographers, Light Painting Artists, sand painting artists, Street Artists, Projection Mapping Experts, and Art Installation Creators
The Performing Artists Dance Troupes, Acrobats and Circus Performers, Ballet Ensembles, Theater and Performance Art Groups, DJs, Live Painting Performers
Eligible participants of ages over 7 are encouraged to apply, especially young children who may not have much experience but are enthusiastic about sharing their special abilities.
