President Joe Biden is nearing the end of a whirlwind trip to India and Vietnam for a series of high-profile meetings aimed at countering China’s influence in the developing world.
At the G20 in New Delhi and again in Hanoi, Biden used his swing through Asia to make the case that the US is a more reliable and trustworthy partner than Beijing, though he emphasized that he did not want a new Cold War with the Chinese.
What’s Next For House GOP Biden Investigations
House Republicans return to Washington this week, months into multiple investigations surrounding President Biden and his family and with the apparent intention of eventually opening an impeachment inquiry.
They’ve fanned the flames but have yet to find a smoking gun that implicates the president of directly benefiting from his family’s international business dealings or making policy decisions as vice president because of them.

The biggest changes to the iPhone 15 lineup are likely to come at the edges when Apple announces new products Tuesday.
Apple’s flagship phone is expected to add better cameras, a titanium casing and swap the proprietary Lightning port for a more standard USB-C connector.

Here’s How To Spot Comet Nishimura Before It’s Off For An Over 400-Year Trip
A fast-moving comet streaking through the predawn skies of the Northern Hemisphere will be gone by early Tuesday morning, but there is only a brief window of time when it’ll be best spotted.
Discovered on Aug. 12 by Japanese amateur Hideo Nishimura, the comet’s closest approach to Earth will be on Sept. 12; it will then carry on toward the sun.
Reaching perihelion on Sept. 17, it will never get closer than 78 million miles — too far away for it to be anything other than tough-to-spot but rewarding for astronomy enthusiasts.

Car Crashes Are The Leading Cause Of Death For Elk In Central Wisconsin
It’s the peak season to get a glimpse of the rare but growing elk herd in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. And sadly for the elk, it is also the most common time of year they are fatally struck by vehicles.
It’s elk breeding season in September and October, and bull elk are known for their bugling call to attract females. It’s the best time to have a chance to see the animals in northern and central Wisconsin, where they were reintroduced after being hunted to extinction at the end of the 19th Century.
