Benji Hughes’s gentle and jokey lo-fi pop is my soundtrack for puttering around the house on a Saturday afternoon. The songs are catchy without being too earwormy. The earnest storytelling — attending a Flaming Lips show with friends, for example, or a polite plea to a neighbor about his own loud music — are simple, sweet, goofy and charming.
