The Ukrainian military may have started using Vampire anti-drone systems against Russian drones. This was reported by Defense Express.
The analysis showed that the Vampire system was probably used during the Shahed attack on the night of February 11.
The press service of the Ukrainian Navy showed a video of the attack and the effectiveness of countering drones. This video footage likely demonstrates the operation of the Vampire system.
At the beginning of the recording, you can see how the anti-aircraft gunners target the enemy Shahed using an unknown optoelectronic station. Then a missile hits the drone, causing it to be shot down.
These video materials are probably the first open evidence of the effectiveness of the combat use of Vampire anti-drone systems equipped with APKWS guided missiles.
